However, there seems to be a serious dispute between both camps. It was recently reported that the Mayweather and Pacquiao showdown is in jeopardy of taking place.

Manny Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum stated that the Mayweather camp is doing something fishy. Bob Arum also said that the MGM Grand and Floyd Mayweather are in cahoots. Fans like Jaime Garcia Dias (twitter.com) have learned that the MGM Grand will be the venue that Mayweather and Pacquiao hopefully fight in. However, there seems to be a big problem with the way that the tickets were handled between both camps. It appears that Floyd Mayweather has been given extra tickets, and it is also appears that he is being given special treatment because he is the hometown boy.

Bob Arum feels that Manny Pacquiao is getting the short end of the stick. However, Floyd Mayweather’s advisor Leonard Ellerbe promises that nothing fishy is going on between the MGM Grand and Mayweather. Leonard Ellerbe feels that Bob Arum is angry because he is not in charge of the promotion. Leonard continued on saying that Bob needs to feel important, and Leonard also said that Bob cannot stand taking orders from Mayweather. The fight did feature two knockdowns from Adonis Stevenson, but the rest of the bout was far from intriguing.

Fans of Adonis Stevenson have wanted him to face Sergey Kovalev, who is another champion in the light heavyweight division. However, people believe that Adonis Stevenson is a bit fearful of Russian bomber Sergey Kovalev. Stevenson vs Kovalev would surely create great hype, and this would continue the upswing for the sport of boxing.
