Sujit Choudhry is not a comparative lawyer but he is also a publisher who has written several books on law and other related legal issues. Mr. Sujit has extensively written on Canadian law. The most recent book he has published and which is yet to be released is about Democracies Crisis. In this book, the international attorney mostly focuses on a tweet written by Eric Holder who served under the former President Barrack Obama as an Attorney General. On December 2017 Erick published the message on his twitter saying that any special termination of Robert Muller who is the White House Counsel will be considered a red line. According to Holder if anything happens to Robert the Americans should hold a peaceful demonstration. Erick Holder also said that Americans have the rights to be heard.

On the other hand, Sujit said that he was surprised by Holder’s twitter yet he is very aware of the law. Sujit said that the twitter by the former Attorney General is founded on constitutional self-enforcement and it builds on a central point. According to Sujit Choudhry, another issue which is founded on a focal point is the presidential term. The American constitution and others around the world the president stays in the office for two terms. Mr. Sujit further says that it will be necessary to change the constitution and the presidents will be allowed to run for office and stay for more than two terms. In another context, the twitter by Erick Holder cannot only be taken as a red line but also a constitutional failure. Sujit Choudhry knows well that if people go by Erick Holder’s tweet it be a cause for political opponent and Americans will take to the streets. More of his views on iconnectblog.com.
